Hello, I’m Priscila Molin, a Brazilian printed textile designer who is based in Sydney. I create hand-painted artworks and textile print patterns that are vibrant, colourful and create a sense of joy. My designs are inspired by vintage textiles, and influences are drawn from an array of sources including visits to my local botanical gardens, books, galleries, vintage clothing as well as the influences of upcoming trends. My work has a painterly quality and primarily focuses on feminine florals, ditsy, loose abstract hand-painted shapes and gestural marks, stripes and checks.
I have graduated with a Bachelor Degree with Honours from the London College of Fashion and have had work experience in studios such as Alexander MacQueen, Giles Deacon, and Matthew Williamson.
My work is primarily focussed towards contemporary print designs for both fashion, interior design and paper goods.
